    Raj Amit Kumar made his first feature film titled UNFREEDOM in 2015 with renowned actors such as Victor Banerjee and Adil Hussain. Unfreedom was banned by Indian government. The film was released in North America.

    Raj Amit Kumar finished his Ph.D. coursework in Cinema and Media studies at Southern Illinois University (SIUC) in 2009. That same year, his talent, diligence and intellect earned him the National Scholarship of India for Academic Excellence and the Faculty Screenwriting Award at University of film and Video Association (UFVA). Prior to attending SIUC, Kumar graduated with in Masters of Arts in Cinema and Media Studies from City University of New York (CUNY) in 2006 where he received the George Custen Memorial Award for Academic Excellence.

    Kumar is also a Speaker, teacher, and writer. He has taught cinema theory and history at both his alma maters, CUNY and SIUC. His writings and research papers have been published and presented at various conferences as well. His next two film projects, titled Ayodhya and Shopping Mall, are currently in development stages.

    Damon J Taylor began his film career as a professional horseman in films such as The Patriot, Lord of the Rings and Ron Maxwell's Gods and Generals. After working on other studio and independent features, learning the ropes in many departments, including Production, Art, Locations and Direction, Damon went to Southern Illinois University of Carbondale to round out his knowledge and focus his talents on screenwriting.

    Damon was a leader in the Cinema Club, managed the student film run international film festival (Big Muddy Film Festival) and graduated Summa Cum Laude from SIUC film program. Soon after, he found a manager and joined Raj Amit Kumar in the development, writing and production of Unfreedom.

    For the past five years Damon has been working for several Directors as a Script Consultant, Writer and 1st AD.

    Damon grew up in the Midwest, served in the United States Marine Corps as a Sergeant (E-5) and has a growing photography business.

    Don Andrews is an artist, filmmaker, mechanic, and director of the Covellite International Film Festival, located in Butte, MT. Don has worked for the Portland Film Festival, as a coordinator and later as programming and technical director 2013-2015. Don worked on the award-winning documentary Foodtruck the Movie, as editor and animator (2014-2015). Prior to that, Don worked for LAIKA Entertainment, as an assistant film editor, on the Oscar nominated movie, The Boxtrolls (2012-2014). Don now spends his time writing, building out Covellite Studios and preparing for the upcoming Covellite International Film Festival.

He was the core post post production team member of feature film UNFREEDOM. He has been associated with media companies like Mid-day Multimedia, NDTV, Big Synergy Media.

    He also has been part of TV reality shows, TV award shows & digital films. He loves to go on bike rides on unending roads in his spare time.

    After a post-graduation in Marketing , Manu forayed into film-making with two short films while still working in USA. Having shifted base to India in 2005, he has since worked with new age directors including artist Owais Hussain(MF hussain's son), Anurag Kashyap and Leena Yadav to develop projects from story to screenplay. He was involved in writing few episodes Kashyap's "Yudh" television series with Amitabh Bachchan in 2012. With his main focus on directing films, Manu directed his first feature film that was released in limited theaters on March 2015, an independent love story film set in the coffee plantations of Coorg. He is currently developing his next feature film, while being actively involved in co writing the screenplay for " Dilli Clay"

    An established writer and director, Mike Sargent’s writing and directing debut feature film, Personals (aka Hook'd Up) starred Malik Yoba (of NY Undercover and Why Did I Get Married), Stacey Dash (of the film and TV show Clueless) and comedian Jim Gaffigan. Personals was the opening night film at Los Angeles’ Pan African Film Festival in 1999. The Los Angeles Times called the film “both entertaining and provocative.” The film was distributed theatrically in 2000-2001 by the independent urban film distributor FILMLIFE/BFFA.

    A graduate of the High School of Art & Design and Parson’s School of Design as an Illustrator, Mike Sargent started his career in Theatre and Film as a sound designer. He was nominated several times for the prestigious Audelco Award for excellence in Sound Design. From there Mike went on to write, produce and direct radio drama and audio books, adapting the works of such acclaimed science-fiction authors as Isaac Asimov and Arthur C. Clark. Mike has been the recipient of a series of grants to develop his feminist-science-fiction play Nemesis. As an Illustrator he has also has done storyboards for a number of films as diverse as horror film BRAIN DAMAGE by Frank Henenlotter, thrillers ILLEGAL TENDER & THE MINISTERS by Franc. Reyes and most recently for Actor-Director John Leguziamo.

    Mike is currently shooting BAD BOYS: A Documentary, an in-depth, investigative film that examines why women and society in general are in love with ‘bad boys’ and have been throughout history. He has also created the website www.badboystories.com as a standalone component intended as place for women to share their stories in hopes of developing a greater understanding of why they – get involved with those bad boys – & whether it is helping or holding them back – empowering or diminishing their power – and whether the attraction to bad boys is nurture or nature.

    Screenwriter, Theatre Director and Television Director. Born in Kerala, India, started my career as a theatre activist doing committed socially relevant plays and street theatre in in New Delhi. Was actively associated with the ACT ONE THEATRE GROUP, a premiere theatre group in the day in New Delhi for 9 years.

    Moved to Mumbai in 1998 and started working in the Film and TV Industry. Starting out as an assistant director, discovered the writer in me and within a year had my first television series being aired on Sahara Networks. Have written award winning TV shows like Kagaar, Kadam, Special Squad, Left Right Left and Parvarish, Tagore Stories. Have also directed episodes of some of these shows.

    Wrote India’s first 20 part 1 hr mini-series YUDH that was aired on Sony Networks starring Amitabh Bachchan.

    In Egypt, where she was born and raised, Ekram enjoyed seven years of working as a journalist, during which she covered the Egyptian revolution, presidential and parliamentary elections. Meanwhile, she finished her MA in Journalism and Mass Communication at the American University in Cairo (AUC).

    Having studied screenply writing and direction from Satyajit Ray Film and TV Institute I havebeen woking in mumbai for last six years. during these five years I have worked as ad and brand films’ director, screenplay writer, Associate Director & chief-assistant director.

    I have written the screenplay of the feature film SAAT UCHAKKEwhich is produced by Neeraj Pandey (A wednesday, Special 26, Baby, Dhoni) and directed by Sanjeev Sharma. The films released in October 2016 to a critical acclaim. During the making of the film I also worked as Associate Director.

    In the year 2013-14, I worked as the chief-assistant director on CHAURANGA (2016), produced by Onir(My brother Nikhil, Sorry Bhai, I am) and Directed by Bikash Mishra(Dearcinema.com).

    The film won best Indian film at MAMI 2014 and selected at various festivals.

    Have written the screenplay of a Indo-Polish co-production PALLABI (to be released in 2018) for Neela Madhab Panda(I am Kalam, Jalpari).

    Having studied History(Honors) from Hindu college in Delhi. I have a keen interest in exploring the Indian landscape around the time of independence. This was the time when the foundation of the modern Indian character was being laid.

    Pulp fiction and Breathless have been my biggest inspiration for the moulding of a narrative and defining a new cinematic grammer.

    I have made experimental documentaries at International film students camp 2009, Serbia, titled COLORING THE FOG, The film was declared the best film of the camp.

    With every new film have been trying to move towards a new cinematic grammar and find a new language.
